Price per run

A run is a complete QA cycle: Selecting tests to run, parallel execution, clearing flakes, maintaining tests, and filing bug reports.

Price per test run, by platform
PlatformPer run
WebChrome, Firefox, and WebKit$1
MobileiOS on real iPhones and iPadsAndroid on emulators or real devices$2
DesktopWindows and Electron apps$2

Up to 5 minutes of run time per test. Longer tests are billed in 5-minute blocks. For example, a 7-minute web test is $2 per run. Each run is attempted up to 3 times for free to catch flakes and false positives. Volume pricing is available: talk to sales.

Unlimited AI included

No AI credits or token bills.

  • Coverage Planning

Agents explore your app and map the test cases it needs, so you know what to cover before a test is written.

  • Test Creation

Agents write the tests in open-source Playwright and Appium.

  • Smart Smoke Suites

Agents pick the tests each pull request needs and run only those.

  • Failure Investigation

Every failure is diagnosed by an agent before anyone on your team looks at it.

  • Test Maintenance

Broken tests are fixed automatically as your app changes.

  • Bug Reporting

When a test finds a bug, the agent reproduces it, then files it in Linear or Jira.

Pay for runs, not flakes

With QA Wolf you pay for verified pass/fail results that tell you it's safe to ship, not compute time and tokens.

Any of these count as one run:

Four ways a test run can go, each billed as one run, $1 on web. 1, pass: the test starts and passes. 2, flake: the test fails on its first attempt, and the retry runs it again from the start and passes. 3, maintain: the test fails three attempts, an AI agent investigates and repairs it, and the re-run runs it again from the start and passes. 4, report: the test fails three attempts, and an AI agent investigates and files a bug report.

Frequently asked questions

Runs

  • What counts as a test run?

A run is a complete QA cycle for one test on one platform, from start to a verified result. All AI and compute is included, including selecting tests for a PR, parallel execution on our cloud, automatic retries to clear flakes, investigating failures, repairing tests, and reporting bugs.

  • Can I bring my own Playwright tests?

Yes. QA Wolf's system runs open-source vanilla Playwright.

  • Am I locked into QA Wolf's platform?

No. Your tests are open-source Playwright and Appium code you can export anytime.

  • What platforms does QA Wolf support?

Web: Chrome, Firefox, and WebKit (Safari)
    iOS: Real iPhones and iPads
    Android: Real devices or emulators
    Desktop: Windows and Electron

Billing

  • How are runs billed?

Each run includes up to 5 minutes of run time. Longer runs are billed in 5-minute blocks, so a 7-minute run is $2 on web and $4 on mobile or desktop. Retries are free: each run gets up to 3 attempts to clear flakes, and it's billed on its longest attempt, so retries never add time.

  • Do I have to pay for test creation?

Not separately. You're only charged for a run to a verified pass/fail result.

  • Do parallel runs cost extra?

No. QA Wolf runs all tests in parallel by default, or you can configure Run Rules to control the order of tests.

  • Are there volume discounts?

    Yes. Let's talk.

  • Can I set a spending limit?

Yes. On pay-as-you-go, a billing manager can set a monthly limit. When you reach it, new runs pause until the limit is raised or the month resets.

  • Does QA Wolf charge per seat?

No. Add as many people as you like; you pay only for runs.

  • Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every new team gets free runs to get started.

Services

  • What is Coverage-as-a-Service?

Coverage-as-a-Service layers human QA engineers on top of the QA Wolf platform to provide an additional layer of test planning expertise, test creation, and result verification. With Jump Start, you can have QA Wolves review and approve your test suite before handing it to your team to continue managing.

  • How much do Jump Start and Coverage-as-a-Service cost?

Both are quoted by our sales team, based on the tests you need. Contact sales.
