Hi, everyone
I’m a little late on our Q3 newsletter but only because there’s been so much happening…
We raised a Series B!
I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished so far and it’s humbling to work with this team that delivers so much. We wouldn’t be welcoming Scale Ventures and Threshold to the wolf pack without this dedicated team. The funding round came to $36 million, and it’ll accelerate the full-scale release of our new native mobile testing solution.
Yes, we now offer mobile app testing!
QA Wolf test coverage for Android apps is available now, and iOS is on the horizon. As with our browser tests, there will be parallel runs, 24-hour test maintenance, and reproducible bug reporting. We’re already ramping several customers, if you aren’t on the waitlist (or aren’t sure if you are), talk to your Customer Success Manager.
And we have a podcast!
It’s called Wolfed (awoooo!). Some of you will know the host, Chris Cohen, as your Customer Success Manager. On the pod, Chris talks to engineering leaders about their careers and life lessons.
—Jon Perl, CEO @ QA Wolf
Full-fledged PR testing for continuous deployment
The DevOps holy grail: Being able to run a full regression suite before merging to main. You’ll need preview environments — whether static or ephemeral — but once they’re configured, QA Wolf can block or roll back any release that isn’t passing. And yes, we can do parallel runs on simultaneous PRs.
Accessibility regression testing
These brand new assertions validate compliance with WCAG accessibility standards. Your QA Lead can work with you to set your accessibility goals, and the test suite will alert you when a release causes a compliance regression. Learn more about automated accessibility testing.
Performance regression testing
With these new test cases you can set a benchmark load time for single components, whole pages, or even whole workflows. The test fails if the load time exceeds the benchmark target. Half a second here and half a second there might not seem like much, but pretty soon they add up to real problems with the user experience. Learn more performance regression testing.
We love making new friends. If you know another company that needs help with QA, you can tell your favorite QA Wolf that you want to make an introduction.
